They say good conversations happen with food. In Victory Dumaguete, it happens mostly on Sundays. Actually every day. But for long tables crowded by loud and fun people like this, we call on for Sundays.

The Worship Team

These are some of the guys in the worship team of our church. I'm always blessed to have these people around on Saturday rehearsals and Sunday worship services. It just excites me to see them, talk with them, and outserve one another in the ministry. Fun and refreshing as we make it a point to meet and remind one another that what skills we have is all for the glory of Jesus. Never about us. We're not perfect but we all live and worship by the same God that refreshes us week by week. Despite our differences in background and character, we step out as a bunch of salt and light to the world. I remember one guy from the Tech Ministry saying that if not for the grace of God, we'd all fall out even by the smallest corrections. So I keep thanking God for keeping us together. Such a great humble team. Despite our busy lives and schedules. Well I guess it's because we all function by the same Spirit. Carry on!

With Everything.

The measure of God's sovereignty is beyond superlatives and the universe combined and amplified . Apart from the understanding that we can never fully understand and grasp the depth of His greatness, faithfulness, wonder, mercy, grace, love, we can never experience nor execute worship that is fully His. We HAVE TO let go all of us and all that we are even the tiniest bit of us that holds back. Then we let God. So that not only at this moment, but day by day may we respond in surrender to who He is in all His splendor and glory and sovereignty. Surrender in this sense is not in any way an act and declaration of defeat. It is a response to the greatness that's been revealed to that wonderful, perfect love through The Cross that all we can ever do and think of is yield, give in to whatever we are and whatever we have, because we're overpowered by love and mercy and grace and of eternal victory and freedom and life everlasting. Not about us, nor for us, nor up to us. It's for Him, about Him, and up to Him. -And so that we are able to lift God up with everything, we are to pray the same prayer David prayed: God, Lord, Sovereign One, teach us more and more and more of You day by day, your decrees, Your being Lord of all, so we may give out the praise and worship You're all worth of. [Psalm 119:171]-

God Making Kulit

I had my QT the other day and inquired of God questions and concerns I feel like He's already answered and tackled with me just some months ago. I just like making kulit to Him sometimes. Scriptures were Psalm 25-28. I prayed the same prayers David did there asking for instructions and wisdom and guidance.. I kinda feel like I've been dilly-dallying with something God's already long convicted me. Then noon on that same day, a poster ad caught me to a halt. "Where Will You Go? pscsend.org" It was a Missions Ad. And this is like His nth nudge making kulit to me too. God's asking me to go. Now! I mean....Now?? Oh Lord, sustain me. Not yet. I'm still willing to go on with this character development season.
